Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner Self Loading
For the version of its famous Robot Vacuum Cleaner, also marketed under the name of Roborock Sweep One, Xiaomi turned to a company specialized in the field of home automation – Roborock, for the fact – subsidising technological research that led to the conception of the new model.
Compared to the previous one, the second edition of Mi Robot, it is also equipped with a water tank and a cloth to wash the floor. In addition to the addition of the microfiber cloth and the tank, this new version of the Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner has a higher suction power and new and more accurate sensors than the previous version.
Even the laser mapping cleaning system has been improved, now you can set up even one area of the house to be cleaned. The LDS sensor analyzes the environment at 360 degrees for 5 times per second, so the robot’s SLAM algorithm creates a path for optimal cleaning of rooms. Through the MiHome application you can then customize the areas to be cleaned. The laser turret has been equipped with a new pressure sensor, so the robot avoids collisions with suspended structures such as the bottom of a sofa, sanitary ware and all the various furniture in which the robot could slip into and risk damaging the laser sensor.
A new ST ToF (Time of Flight) proximity sensor allows the vacuum cleaner to stay a few millimeters away from the walls improving cleaning with side brushes. The front area of the robot has also been equipped with a rubber bumper to protect furniture and walls from collisions.
